Downtown Indio’s Old Town turns into a two-day tamale playground for the Indio International Tamale Festival, where the Tamale Trail leads you past vendor booths serving classic favorites and creative spins, all set to live entertainment and a street-fair buzz.For 2026, plan on Saturday and Sunday, December 5–6, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Miles Avenue Park. Admission is free, with plenty of tamales to sample, and many visitors use the free parking and shuttle options to keep arrival easy.
